2029 Appointee Orientation Meeting
American Legion Hall Post 91, 30 W Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 Date: Saturday, May 17 2025 - 10 AM - 2 PM Connect with your fellow 2029 Appointees, Preppies, and their families in the weeks before they embark on their Air Force Academy journey. This is an invaluable resource for incoming basic cadets and their families to get questions answered and to meet other cadets and fellow appointees from Wisconsin. Year after year, we consistently get overwhelming positive feedback on this event. It is well worth your time!
Lunch is provided free of charge for Appointees. All other attendees $15. Lunch can be paid by check or cash at the event. |

Parents Weekend Falcon Club Dinner - Cancelled for 2025
Friday Night of Labor Day Weekend Wisconsin is fortunate to have a long-standing tradition of hosting a formal dinner the Friday night of Parents weekend. The dinner is held at the Falcon Club on base at USAFA.

Dark Ages Care Packages
February The period between winter and spring break is known as the "Dark Ages" and can be a tough time for cadets dealing with short days, winter weather and a long-stretch of tough classes. WAFAPA lifts their spirits with a care package from home. Assembly happens during our winter meeting. Taste of Home at USAFA
Every Other Year Cadet Event in Colorado Springs - Next scheduled for 2025 NEW Senior Leadership initiated Parent-hosted MORALE EVENT for the entire Cadet Wing. Completely run and executed by USAFA State Parent Clubs. It is modeled after the International Fair held at Maxwell Air Force Base. Local parent clubs are assigned to one of 6 Regions. Each region showcases the culture, customs, cuisine, traditions and history of their region and has a terrific time doing it. Our annual meeting in the spring is a time to celebrate our Firstie parents, elect new club officers and participate in a fun group activity. Past spring meetings have ranged from touring air bases in Wisconsin to a WAFAPA family feud at Game Show Battle Room. We also present the graduation gift of gorgeous hand-crafted wooden boxes to our Firstie families.
